Tinley Park is in 13 days!!! Who's Going!?

Ill be staying at the Laquinta inn with Richard Prater :) Possibly one, or two more, but unsure as of right now.

No definite plans set as to where im going to go to party/meet everyone, but whichever i decide, im sure it will be an absolute blast!!!

Where will you be staying? With Whom? I plan on visiting a few watering holes... so whatever goes down, ill probably be up for it!!!

we'll see, but if I get to go then it'll be cool.

With baby geckos on the way, no free cages, I've actually decided to not pick up any new herps (unless I see a truly spectacular high % DJJ or DxJ carpet python, but I don't think there are any of those up for grabs anywhere), so that kind of kills the excitement just a tad. I just don't have room and I know it'd be heartbreaking to see everything for sale and have to tell myself 'no'.. lol

Also Oct 10th, my gf and I will have been together for 4 years.. talk about bad timing for a show(unless she actually wants to go! crossing my fingers)

I'm not going to make it but I'm looking forward to it coming/going, I have some projects that can't start till Tinley is over!

I'll be there, but I'll be moving back and forth between the NARBC show and the Midwest Herp Symposium being held in Orlando Park about 5 miles away.

Mainbutter, when you say DJJ or DxJ do you mean a Diamond X Jungle carpet cross ? I've got a friend who has a male of one of those and he lives here in the Twin Cities area. I know he'd like to breed him this year but doesn't have a suitable female.

Kevin Fitz would be absolutely great to hear, and i would be willing to miss quite a lot of goings on for that talk. I have a few questions for him, if he ends up taking public questions.

I will be at the Midwest Herp Symposium because the Chicago Herp Society is hosting it this year...... actually I kinda have to be there because I am working it :D Then I will be at the NARBC on Sunday. If you go to the symposium you get into NARBC for a discounted $5. Hopefully I will see a couple of you there. :)

LOL..... yea sorry... I think they may still be doing the earlybird price for $75. I can check if you would like me to.

i will deffinatly be there!!!!!!!

We will be wondering around looking for exporters. or CITES peoples for bringing animals back to Canada, lookin for rosy boas, sand boas, balls, GTP's etc :)

I will have my laptop and when we get there we can start a hotel room thread and all get togethor at the pool? lol

Me me me! lol I'll be there both days. Have yet to reserve a room but i will find one this weekend. My friend jenny and i will be there. She meets me sat night after work. I'll be there sat afternoon. Just look for the girl with full arm vine tatt with a dragon, mantis and spider on it lol! Also the girl spending way too much money! My myspace link is on my contacts. Or PM me if you want to meet up. I'll give ya my # so you can text me if you want. Im picking up from a couple breeders there so i'll be busy. Keep a look out for pics of all my new additions after i recieve them all. I'll have my kick butt camera with me too. See ya there!

Ha, that's usually how it goes. Since it seems a lot of people are located around the La Quinta maybe there is a place around there.

My girlfriend Amy and I will be there Friday night into Saturday, staying at La Quinta. Let's get together Friday night, looks like Saturday the Hawkeyes are playing Michigan and Iowa City get-together's are beckoning that night.....

Yeah yeah yeah... Give me a call... I've already paid my money so maybe I'll loan you my armband or whatever the heck it is that they give me that gives you egress to the talks... shoot, last week they had six speakers, this week they have nine... If they're scrambling that much, they might not be THAT touchy on the entrance fees.... You could probably just walk in without anyone saying boo to you...

wicked, We are leaving here friday morning 3am... assuming we get in in fair time and get a nap in. friday night may work as long as its close :)

Woo hooo! 5 days left! I can't wait! Ive got my room reserved at the La quinta. I'll be there both days. Im picking up ALOT of stuff. New rack. A few of my new ball pythons. Probably be looking for good deals on stuff like bedding. Rats. Etc. I need a new incubator too since mines previously used and not very big. Im afraid im going to spend way too much money lol! Unfortunately unless i happen to actually buy this jeep im going to look at tomorrow. Or later today rather. I'll have to drive a wrecked truck there. Talk about luck. A month ago my car breaks down. Then my jeep breaks. Now im driving someone elses wrecked truck lol oi. But neither wind nor rain nor lack of vehicle will keep me away from the show!

I'll be there, My best friend lives 10min away so I don't have to spend money on a room. Yay!!

coming soon.. Sadly our CITES fell through so wont be buying anything at the show :(

I only live about 20 minutes away but i got a room anyway. I can't see driving back n forth in eastbound traffic for 2 days. Besides. Its my chance to get away from home and work and all the stress Ive had lately. Im turning it into a mini relaxing vacation lol. Oh and i saw on the tv commercial for it that the guy that owns bubba the aligator will be there. If thats the guy that lives in Minooka i delivered pizza to his house like 12 years ago when i lived out there lol!
