    Coastal pics
I set my lil Coastal guy up in an old 3ft Neodesha cage tonight so I snapped a few pics. I chose newspaper as I like how easy it is to clean up. I'll be doing some renovations inside as well as covering up some imperfections that can come along with an old Neo. He will perch on the tree, but I also have the thicker bar up to give him a workout while cruising. His temperment is getting a bit better and I think the space will do him good.

Thanks, I have tons of stuff to do inside the cage as I just threw it together after getting temps right. Darn old cages!
It looks much better with him in it so I decided to toss him in and see how he likes it. He will be doing tons of cruising:)

Carpets seem to be such a fun snake to keep:)

I would probably get a baby sometime next year. Right now I'm trying to get my collection to only consist of pythons since that's what I mainly would like to focus on. But, of course, I'm keeping the little Hognose:D.

I've really taken a liking to Carpets. They are fun to keep and really great to handle as adults as long as their used to being handled.

Agreed! I just got a Bredli and I love her already. I like how alert and intelligent they seem to be when handling. A coastal was my #2 pick, and you bet your butt I'm getting a pair ASAP! ;) How old is that one?

I think he hatched out about 11 months ago. I haven't had him the whole time though. He's turning into a real pig so I think the growth spurt is comin up. I didn't realize how long was until that cage put it into perspective. He's grown a ton since I got him.

Yeah I went through a Carpet-loving phase when I wanted to get a Carpet as fast as I could lol. I think the adult Carpet would be too slender for my liking, though. I like the heavy bodied snakes, like the Borneos:bow:

They make up for the lack of girth with their activity while handling. Very inquisitive and quite a handful.
