Toby's pattern is so crazy! He's a very pretty pastel!
Go Pedro! Snickets always eats in full blue too... I was hesitant about trying, but aparently she's a little piggy!

Vote for Pedro :)
I got a rat pup for my little guy today who is in shed. Normally I don't feed when they are in shed, but I didn't notice. He wouldn't eat it, but thankfully I have a garbage disposal in the other room. I think its funny he, Pedro, pulled it into the hide, he was like "No, you cant watch!"

Thanks! He seems to be getting prettier with every shed, and I can't wait to see his offspring. :)

Yeah, he was happy to take it... but then I checked on him today, and the mouse was uneaten in his hide. :( Guess he decided to wait! I offered a live adult mouse tonight since I was feeding the others, and actually watched him swallow that one - he's cleared but not shed yet, btw. Next time I'll wait until he's clear before offering, just in case he does that again.

LMAO. :D His full name is Don Pedro, which is from Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing." All of my BPs (except Delilah) have Shakespearean names, and he just looked like a Pedro.

I guess he felt vulnerable because of the blindness, since he usually eats half in & half out of his hide. But as I just typed above, it turns out he didn't finish eating it... weirdo.

Shakespeare rocks :) Mine are all designer names. Prada, Versace, and Siriano. I'm getting a female pastel sometime in the next two years and we are going to name her Tahari. Yay for themes!

Antigone is cute! :) I'll probably give up when I have like 20+ snakes, but for now I still have fun coming up with names... and once I came up with the Shakespeare "theme" it made things a lot easier. I have a few Shakespearean links saved on my browser, so I can just pick one for each new snake. I might be getting a cinnamon female soon, and was thinking of the following: Audrey, Cordelia, Celia, Cassandra, Iris, Phoebe, Silvia or Ursula.
I know snakes can't answer to their names or anything, but it's easier for me to refer by name... rather than saying "I fed MAlb01 today, and FhAlb03 refused her meal." :weirdface Plus, they are still my pets first & foremost, and ALL of my pets have names - even the fish I used to have. I won't bother naming the clutches when I breed, though, unless it's one I am planning to keep.

Thanks! He was being a silly boy, and it actually took about 30 minutes to coax him out... I'm just happy he's finally relaxing around me, since he wouldn't stop striking for the first week I had him. He's still a little jumpy, but hasn't tried to bite for at least 2 weeks now. :gj:

That's a cute theme! Using a theme definitely makes things easier, since otherwise I'd probably spend days deciding on names. At least this way it narrows things down, and you know exactly where to start.
I'm such an indecisive Libra, and get the same way with my other pets - took me like 2 months to name (cat) Cyrus, so I called him "kitten" until he started thinking that was his name. And my old cat Kona was named Rajah for over a month, before I decided it was kinda hard to say... unlike with snakes, that actually does matter with cats/dogs. ;)

I'm a libra to! Haha. I actually have a cat named Kitty >.> His whole name is Kittybiscuits, but I call him Kitty for short.

Go Libras! :D When's your birthday? I'm right at the cusp of Scorpio - October 20th - but totally 100% Libra. Oh, and my cat Bindi's name is unofficially "Kitty" since that's all she answers to... even the dog knows her as Kitty, LOL.

Thanks! I keep hearing that pastels get "uglier" as they age, but Toby only seems to get prettier... his blushing is lighter with every shed, which is why my dream is to make super pastels (and eventually killer clowns or bees?) with him. Can you imagine that blushing times two? :)
Btw, he is getting busy with Mona as we speak... my very first pairing!
