really, for the money, this is the best scale to get that will handle all your reptile needs up to 7000 grams.

When I shopped target, all the scales that looked like they would suit full grown BPs were just as expensive.

Look in the kitchen/small appliance aisles. They'll be in the same area with toasters, blenders, etc.

However if you're looking in Walmart they should be in the cooking section.

Walmart has them in the cooking section, and the one I bought was with the packing and office supplies. I actually purchased it over a year ago so I could ship things from home, and only recently started using it for snakes. Found out it has a 3 lb weight limit (or just below 1500 g) so I need a new one.

I use the one off of ebay, 15 bucks and it works great for my intents and purposes. Only complaint that Ive found recently is the type of battery that it uses.

Yup! ReptileBasics.com is the answer I recently purchased one it should be here within 4-5 more days...it cost me around $48 including shipping so not that expensive...plus its worth it 'cause you won't need another scale because it reaches upto 7000 grams which is like 15 lbs...
