Pied Hatchling Freshly shed
My pied that I hatched out a little over a month ago finally shed. He had a semi traumatic start to life, and skipped his 1st shed. But he did start eating right away and is a little piglet! Anyways, he finally had his first shed, and his colors are even more awesome (to me) than before.
Also check out his "paradox(?)" spot on his neck...

Notice the gray right behind his head

That Pied is absolutely stunning! It's the perfect Pied in my opinion.
Re: Pied Hatchling Freshly shed
That is one hot pied! I love it!:)
Re: Pied Hatchling Freshly shed
That is a very nice pied! I also have an 09 pied with the same paradox mark and a big patch of a normal bp mark on her.

Thanks Jamie! I think so too, was one of those "meh" morphs for me until I saw one in person. Immediately jumped to the top of the must have list.

Neat! You should post up some pics, I'd like to see her paradox markings, too, just to compare.
Re: Pied Hatchling Freshly shed
Absolutely beautiful! I don't really have a preference for the high vs low white pieds, since IMO it all depends on the individual snake... and that's a HOT one. :gj:
Re: Pied Hatchling Freshly shed
Very cool, Pieds are my favorite variation. They are so unique....
Re: Pied Hatchling Freshly shed
Sweet looking little guy:cool:
Re: Pied Hatchling Freshly shed
Very nice!!!! :gj: I'd probably call that a paradox spot considering pieds don't usually have gray spots :D

Very nice pied with a weird marking!
Re: Pied Hatchling Freshly shed
Congrats Matt. Pieds are awesome, and that one is no exception. As for the grey on the neck, that is a trait of Pieds. I have yet to see one that doesn't. They also will develop some sooty grey coloration under the lower jaw as they age as well. It happens to be one of my favorite things about Pieds.
Re: Pied Hatchling Freshly shed
Thanks for the additional compliments!

Cool! Thanks for sharing. The only pieds I've ever seen have been in display cases at shows, so I never really got to see them up and personal. I'll definitely be watching him more closely now after each shed.

Congrats on the Pied, very cool!
