How long did you wait before geeting another bp?

Hello again. I have had my Ball Python for over a month or so now. After coming to this forum seeking help, i was introduced to many types/morphs of bps! So right now im holding back on getting more, which is very hard.I love looking at some of the forum members collections in the Bp Picture forum. I am mainly doing this due to my inexpirience in owning a bp and want to get a few months under my belt before I expand my collection.
So my question to you is, how long, if you did, did you wait before expanding you Bp, or reptile collection?

2 all too long years

About 2 months after getting Ozzy I got Sharon. :D

I just get as many as a i possibly can fit into my room without it looking like a storage warehouse.... I could get 3 to 4 bp's at one time, as long as I had the required cage/heat, ect.

Ya thats how i feel, my snake is lonely in the room all by itself and i can tell its dying to have a spider axanthic for a friend. Or maybe thats just me :D.

I got my first BP, Delilah, back in February of this year... thought I was satisfied with just one, until I really got into studying the genetics and morphs. Then I went to the local reptile show in May, and got my second BP Toby - so that was about 3 months in-between. ;)

I got my first one in 2001 and my second in 2005. 33 snakes later...

Well technically it was over 3 years later...but this year I rescued one and found this site to make sure he was full equipped for living happily..that was in May....and now I have 16 BPs. 0_o

They are definitely awesome but they require dedication like no other. You'll understand more if you run into feeding issues. Nothing makes a BP keeper beat holes into the walls with his head than a ball python on a hunger strike.

Technically I bought my first 2 at the same time from a breeder, then I waited about 2 years before buying anymore.

I wait till I have the money for another one :D

after a month of getting my first bp there was no stoppin me from getting a mojave a month later lol and thats when they were going for 800 bucks :oops:...

Sweet im glad im not the only one thats wants more right after their first one. I think im going to get another once i figure out what i want and then hunt down a breeder near me. :gj:

I bought my first BP in July... and my original plan was to get two but I knew my parents wouldn't go for it (they didn't even realize I had my first one until last week) and by then it was too late. Then my mom came with me to the most recent NY expo and I gave her the ULTIMATE PUPPY FACE... and got my second.

I'm satisfied with that... really!

Although I don't think she realizes the true point of having both a male and a female. >=D

I was planin on getting just a pair of hets, but I had to delay them from being shipped so I just added another one =)

No noise, no smell, no nothing--and tubs? No ma, it's clothes in there. Put a couple of books on top and no one's the wiser. ^______^;;;

I'm told severely this one's my LAST one... (up until I start hatching my own, that is.)

Took me 2.5 years for the potato-chip thing to sink in (can't have just one)! And after that, it only took me six months to acquire seven more. :D

Well... i only have one but i voted 2-6 months because I plan on getting a pastel female around christmas time. :D

After I got my first ball, Cu, it was a bit over a year until I got my second, Prospekt. But during that time, I got my beardie, treefrog, and blood python.
