How much $$$ would a Female Pewter run me?

How much $$$ would a Female Pewter cost me?

You should be able to get one for around $700 give or take a little.

or you could breed a pastel and cinnamon you could get both for about ~$500 and then when you produce your own you could get more out of it!!! And you would feel proder of the pewter you have since you produced it yourself!!!

It depends-
Black Pewter or Cinny? Quality of the animal... these all factor into the price. Having said that, it does appear there are quite a few under a grand now.

Good quality Female Pewters cost around $1200-$1500 over here.

You can get them for under $1000, but for a really nice one, I'd say around $1200

i recently saw 5.1 09 pewters up for 550 on fauna

i'm pretty sure the one i have my eye on is a cinny pewter... define a 'good quality' pewter for me please? because from what i've researched the kids dont always come out looking like their folks!

Depends on the individual's tastes. I like extreme blushing and high silver when looking at young Pewters.

I am very very jealous of how lucky you guys south of the border are when it comes to pricing!

Firstly it should look like the morph, I like to look at many pics of the morph I am looking to buy. I make note of the the things in common & any unique things I like about the morph. Here's pics of both a Cinny & Black Pewter:

Cinny Pewters are great- the more open pattern of the Cinny can really let the lightness show well. Although they may seem silvery as babies they do they seem to have a warmer cast to them as they mature than do the Black Pewters. I like them to make the Sterlings (Super Pastel Cinny) too. For the Sliver Bullet I prefer the Black Pewter base rather than the Cinny. Less warm tones IMHO truer silver/black colour for that cross.

i got my female pewter for 500 bux two weeks ago :D. and she's great. Oh and did i mention she's 850 grams?

It's not all about price. There are crappy examples of every morph that can be had for cheap(er). Let's see some pics of those cheap Pewters though!

Pewters from the Black Pastel line tend to grow into a (in my opinion) better adult. Earthier brown opposed to the cocoa brown of the Cinnamons. Best I ever seen was a youngster from John Berry.

Here's one that I bought from Albey. Not cheap, but definitely worth the extra cash for a great animal.

Just so we're clear though, it's important to note that collection sales, divorce sales, lost my job sales, etc do not set the market price. You got lucky and got a good deal and that's great. The market for Pewters is much higher than what you paid though.

I think the prices are closer to $1000. Heather Wong has some drop-dead gorgeous Pewters.

yah, +/- 1000 is what i see everywhere... im pretty surprised though, Graziani is selling Mojaves and Pins for like $300?? i thought there value was alot more than that!? i know its american prices but damn.. we're only at 93cents to the doller!! lol

She's an 08 that I paid $1500 for and I plan on first of all making some Sterlings with the bad 08 pastel I picked up from Albey last year.
