Nice photos, and looks like a pleasant little exhibit - though your cottonmouth looks a lot like a copperhead on my monitor!

I have heard that in Georgia they are called highland moccisan(coppenhead) and lowland moccisan(Cottonmouth), but I have never heard the copperhead called a cottonmouth. Every state is different so I cant say you are wrong, but I could see you calling it a moccisan and that would fit, but cottonmouth just doesn't sound right for a copperhead.

Think ablout how many differant names people have for bluegills.We have bream,sunnies,shellcrackers and probably a few more that i forget right now :P

no copperheads are definitely a completely different snake. cottonmouth and water moccasins are the ones that are the same.

Those are some pretty cool snakes.
I do believe that "Cotton Mouth" is a Copperhead. Water Moccasins and Cotton Mouths are the same exact thing.
