    Daytona Expo Video Compilation
I finally sifted through four hours of videotape and pasted together this compilation of the Daytona Show. Please excuse the amateurish photography and video/audio editing. It's a bit long, but there was so much to see and lots of great people--some you may recognize, and some may even be you. Hope you enjoy it...

Great job! Seems like that was a fun show. Thanks for taking the time to put it together for those of us who couldn't be there:)

Very cool video! I saw Justin Kobylka, Tim Bailey, and Albey Scholl on there, as well as many others I recognized, but those are the three guys I happen to know! LOL

Thanks for putting that together, Lisa!

Excellent video. I even saw myself in there, and never realized I had ever been filmed.

Sorry, Tim! I had to get you since everyone on BP knows you. It took a few seconds before I got that winning smile, though!

No apologies, I just didn't realize. I am not afraid of the camera.

Thanks, Robin! Next year, I'll put a bit more time into it and get the edits right--hopefully get better picture quality, but youtube can be pretty pixelated.

For everyone's benefit, I tried to get banners and name tags as well so that you could place names with faces. Justin was a nice surprise because I wasn't sure I'd run into him. Also on the video are Ben Siegel, Amir Soleymani, Chad Brown, Tom Crutchfield, Greg and Jackie Graziani, Dav Kaufman from the Herpers movie who also was the auctioneer at the USARK benefit, CHEWY (who everyone was mobbing--he's become such a celeb.).

Brian Barczyk was very busy. Everyone seemed to want family photos with him. I did get to talk to his wife Lori who is a sweetie pie. She has her hands full! I did also get out-of-focus :( pics of Brock Wagner holding his awesome King Clown and Mimosa.

It was a really great time and an event we look forward to every year. Obviously, I wanted to bring everything home. Thanks for watching!

Good job on the editing. You got a lot of great shots of some of the more interesting sights out there, and some that I missed when I was there.

What do you use to edit? I tried Windows Movie Maker but didn't get very far.

I used Movie Maker, but heck, with four hours of footage and a nearly seven minute song, I just got tired. I usually try to arrange the clips in some sort of logical order and then make them cut with the beat of the song, but if I perfected it, I might not post 'til the Tinley Park show, and by then Daytona will be old news. I just wanted everyone to be able to enjoy the show, the animals, and the vendors.

I gave it ten minutes, then gave up, lol. I figured if it was a Windows program, it wouldn't take much to figure it out, but I couldn't seem to get the song I wanted onto the spot in the timeline where it should have been. So I just shut it off :taz: I'm sure if I figured out Photoshop, I can figure out Movie Maker, but I have to put some time into it.

    Cool!

It was a fantastic weekend. We always talk about getting a table, but then we couldn't socialize and see all the great stuff.
