for some reason i feel like that "bigfoot" is the kenny guy, in a costume.... standing by the plant. theyre like the same height too...

at least people were trying to help it and not kill it.

I cannot imagine worse timing for something like this. The media always says the animal was dumped by a keeper. Maybe it escaped, maybe it was let go. Maybe somebody from HSUS dropped it on the side of the road to generate support for their initiatives. It really doesn't matter how the snake got on the side of the road. We continue to screw ourselves in the court of public opinion...

The reptile guy was talking a lot about how he thought it was no different than a cat or dog being dumped, I think that brought a bit of a better light on the situation.

What you need to realize is that the state isnt really that important. Its the fact that it happened! This kind of stuff has an impact on the entire Herpetological community. All it takes is one dumb law on the books in ANY state and it could spread like a wildfire...

wow 7-10 a week for a large rabbit?

SMALL rats around here are 7.99 (13.99 for dumbos)

you can't even smell a bunny for under 24.99 and thats the sale price, once in a while 19.99! they normally run 29.99 to 49.99 (even for the regular ol' everyday rabbits)

so when i hear 7-10 a week for a larger snake, i think thats cheap lol

you should find someone who breeds rabbits for 4h or the fair...they'll sell you the not so good marked ones cheap.
