    Re: New Breeding room
Its actually funny. The bottom rat room used to be an ostrich barn. The top snake room was originally meant to be a guest home but we just filled the space with clay pots we were selling. Now the snake business is growing we are turning that into a snake room.

Very nice. I wish I had a place to breed rats. I also wish I had the space for breeding that you have. My breeding room is a 12'X12' room in my basement, but it suits me fine for now. Yours is outstanding.

    Thanks,
12'x12' seems like a pretty decent amount of space.

Now that is a cool project.

What plans do you have in place for climate control? That is a big space to maintain at a set temperature and humidity.....

I will be building a snake room during October but it will be nowhere as big as the space that you have......

W are installing a big heater hooked up to a thermostat and a small humidifier.
There is already power and water ran to it but we still have to install an in-line generator.
