    bee or pewter
so i am about to buy one or the other i have been reading the forums for about a year and this is my first post. i have a breeder size female pastel that i began to cool last year to get her use to the cycle and will let her run this year. I have the chance to buy a Bee and a pewter both males both a 1000 grams both proven. i know the theme of replies are buy what you like most, i am not looking for that type of answer as they are both favorites. My question is which one do you feel is the more powerful morph in regards to combinations that can be created. And which would you pic based on combinations and which is the higher dollar value as an investment in a ball python. thank you for reading and participating in my post

I would go with the Bee for the combination potential; although I am a huge fan of the Pewters but you could always get a cinnamon male for cheaper down the road and produce your own pewters, toughie

I would say it really depends on what you plan on breeding your bee/pewter to. If you are going to go with your female pastel that is fine. With a pewter, you still end up with a chance for more pewters, sterling pastels, super pastels, etc. With a bee, you could end up with more bees, killer bees, and supers etc. Either one will be a great investment, it just depends on which one gives you warm fuzzies.

I'd go with a bee, but that's because I absolutely love bees and other related combos.

    Pewter. I like cinnamons.

But really, you could always just get a male pastel (or super), a female cinnamon and a female spider. Then you can get yourself a pewter and a bee.

I would recommend a pewter also, but I am going on a little personal tangent here and say that I recommend a blck pewter (Black pastel, pastel). The black pewters in my opinion look much better tehn the ones made with the cinnamon morph. Todd

Both types of Pewter have their merits. IMHO get what you like best. If it's truly a draw for you then I'd suggest Pewter for now. Here's a shot of both a Cinny Pewter & Black Pastel Pewter:

The Cinny Pewter is on the outside.

Peronally I would go with the bee as well.

    One, combination potentials.
Two, they look good into adulthood, pewters tend to get REALLY dirty.
    Three, I love bees :D

If it were me, I would go with a pewter. I wouldn't mind seeing silver bullets and sterling pastels, and super cinnys in the future (possible offspring when a pewter is bred to a cinnamon or a pastel).
At the same time, if you were to breed a bee to a lesser.....queen bees are great too.
