    Good day to you all mate :)
    Hi, I was wandering what morph is my daughter's BP, the seller said it's kinda "semi blackback" is it true ?

    That is a normal. When refering to black back that is just the black on the back some are genetic while most are not. They do however make great dinkers. Maybe posting some belly and head shots would help better though.

    That physical appearance can be classified as a black back but unless it was purchased from a proven genetic line its considered a normal ball python.

    Ok, thanks alot guys, here's the pic of the head, i hope it's clear enough, what about the belly, is the Blackback belly should differ from the normal BP ?

    It has the blackback blushing on the sides at the beginning but it's a for sure Norm.

    Blackbacks have special blushing now?

    Its a normal with a possibly genetic blackback.

    Hi James, thanks for your reply, I'm a newbie in this BP area, so could you please tell me what is a "special blushing" means, and if you say that this BP is a normal with possible genetic blackback, what should I do to have a pure blackback ? BTW my BP is a she :)

    In all likelyhood, if you breed that snake to a normal, you will get normal looking babies. If you do get some black backs, I would say breed it again and see if you produce the same black back looking snakes. It is a nice normal until it produces something other than normals. I like the look, breed it to a nice pastel and hope.....
