My New Clown obsession
Ok so thus far I have avoided recessives because of the time it would take to start any kind of recessive project(No to mention recessive usually cost a pretty penny) I always had a love for Carmel albinos but lately I've been finding myself getting drawn to clowns more and more.(especially since brock hatched out those lesser clowns) Since I don't have an extra $1500-$2000 I figured the fine people of BP.net could at least point me in the direction of some good clown combo and pics of these combos.I'm looking for pics of the following
-Pastel clown
-Killer clown
-Lesser clown
-Hypo clown
-Carmel Clown
-Carmel glow clown(Don't know it its been done, but it should be!
-Any other cool combo I didnt think about;)
C'mon people lets give the clown lovers out there something to drool over!:D

How about just a nice Clown?

And of course, Brock's King(lesser)clowns

I'm shooting for a clown from my hets this year, they are definitely my favorite morph and make some great combos. The lesser clowns were breathtaking in person. I can't wait to see pastel lesser clowns. Check out how the "drips" on the dorsal stripe fade to white on the lesser clown, just gorgeous. I also love how the pattern looks like someone outlined it with a finepoint.

Re: My New Clown obsession
I share your obsession with clowns and clown combos. :tongue2:
They're one of my 5 key morphs that I want to work with. I'm getting my first 1.1 hets this weekend. I figure you have to start somewhere. ;)
One day... one day far far away, heh... I would like to produce a lesser killer clown. I think THAT would be an amazing combo.

That's the nice thing about all the different morphs. They don't HAVE to appeal to everyone, and there's something for everyone.
I can understand where you're coming from though, because I personally don't get champagnes - they do nothing for me, the combos aren't very impressive (patternless - all of them) and their heads look weird shaped to me (probably optical illusion, but still, not something that makes me go gah gah).
I think that Sean of EbN made the nicest looking clowns EVAH! LOL
Scroll down to clowns:

Clowns are one of my Top Three Forever Faves! They're beautiful all on their own...and then the combo potential is just phenomenal. Haven't seen anyone suggest a LavAlb Clown....how's that for HOT potential??? :D

Re: My New Clown obsession

i agree with the champagnes!
and its kinda funny, at first i wasnt too impressed with the clowns at ALL.
like they were just boring to me, and i was wondering why they were so expensive
but i eventually came around, and i saw the combo potential of them, and then i took a second look! the first clown i saw was on google, and it was reduced.. but i saw a busy pattern'd clown, and i was like WOW thats WICKED! its not that im a busy pattern person, i LOVE reduced spiders and normals, but some morphs i think just look better with a busy pattern :gj:
liiike. i LOVE the busy pattern pinstripes! and i LOVE the busy pattern clowns :P
clowns are def one of my fav morphs, AFTER spiders, but i dont see myself owning one just cuz they're so expensive lol

Re: My New Clown obsession
Clowns are definitely my favorite single morph... so many combo options that are all incredible. Here is my female that is ready to breed this winter.

Oh yeah...I didn't figure I was the first person to ever think of that! :P Just hadn't been mentioned in this thread yet. I hope we can see some pictures soon! I'd especially like to see some grown-up pics of that one because both the morphs change colors so much as they mature....but even if Pro Exotics produced them this year, I guess we'll have to wait awhile to see how they mature.

Re: My New Clown obsession
I'm not a fan of the champagnes either! HEY! We're not alone, haha. I don't get why people are going so crazy over them. But hey, to each their own right? (The less pattern a ball has, I think the less I like it. I'm not even a huge fan of BELs or high white pieds.)
I think a lavender albino clown would be rediculous though. THAT I would love to see.

Would that not be a mostly yellow snake with some slight purple hues here and there? Maybe I'm not picturing a super black pastel right. Are they completely black? Or is that super black pastel x super black pastel?

I think it would be the other way around... mostly purple with a few yellow patches. The albino super cinny is a white snake. The lavender should replace the white...hence my vision.:salute:
