Poll: Pied.... High, Low or somewhere in the Middle?

What do you prefer in a pied?

If you would like to tell us why you like one over the other then go ahead. I assume that most will just say it's a preference.

Also if you want to include a picture of your favorite then thats even better. :gj:

I voted low.

Some where in the middle. I like the pattern of pied.But I also like the white.Just not all white thats why we have BEl's

High white!

I like 70-80% white. More than that I like for the patterened area to be very light. Here is my newest pickup.

I like the high white pieds!

I like them all but this would be the order of preference

50/50
Low white
High white

High white with dark brown saddles.

I like high whites better, but my pied is a low white.

I like my pieds about 50% white with lots of orange blushing.:gj:

I'd say pieds are the only morph I really like.

I like high whites a little more than low whites.

I go from somwhere in the middle to high white. Love having a few nice saddles well spaced along the animal :D

Im still waiting on the Two Face Pied...

My favorite is about 50/50 white and pattern. With the pattern spaced as realtively equally sized and spaced patches going down the body. Also like a white tip of the tail. Of course both that I actually have are low white, but I'll find my perfect pied one day.

1st off, all piebalds are awesome but I do prefer higher white over lower white.
Which is why I ended up buying this wonderful looking female.

I can honestly say that is the nicest pied I've ever seen.

I like medium to high/medium white pieds the best. I also like low white pieds a lot, too, because of their cool funky patterns.

The only pieds I don't really like are the super duper high white ones - the ones with a brown head and an entirely white body - to me the just look like a jacked up BEL.

And here's my favorite pied ever, mostly because I just hatched her out a couple of weeks ago from a pair of hets. She's my first and only pied. I'd say she's in between high and medium white.

I prefer somewhere in the middle. I really like the pied pattern and color, so I don't like super high white.

I voted for "somewhere in the middle" but like anything from medium to low white. I am not a fan of high whites at all. I think too much white looks a bit off/bad. That's my personal opinion though.

I prefer med to med/high white. I like the blotchy pattern of the pieds. I prefer leucistics for my white snakes.

I love all pieds but I like a fairly even snake. That one female is a nice pied though. One day i will have one!

I like low white pieds.... somewhere around 20 or 30 percent white maybe.... Pieds are sweet though!!

I like 50/50, I think that's an ideal expression of the gene. I do see the appeal in low-white pieds, though, they can have a truly fascinating appearance. I'm not a fan of high white--to me, that detracts from what is unique about pieds. (There are so many ways to make a white snake, lol).

I love her to death but to be honest, I've seen a few pieds that I think looked better than her (to me at least). :)

Such a hard choice to say for sure but I will vote somewhere in the middle.

I prefer high whites myself up to a point. Anything between 50%-90% white is good. Anything more then 90% white and I might as well have a Leucistic instead.

Medium white(50-70%) with nice seperation and a smiley face is a nice bonus.

I prefer a consistency of precisely 30.02-32.12% non-white.

You wouldn't want a pastel that was 100% white? It would be a GEL, and that, my friend, would be unique.

I likethem all. Each one is differnt and killer in it's own way. My fav's come from J Kobylka line of pastel pieds. His pumpkin pieds are off the chain. :gj: :banana: :bow: :rolleye2:

I like low to no whites. For combos I'd prefer 20%-40% max.

I love the striping and orange in the low whites....
