I've seen people sell out of print books like this, marked up way beyond the cover price. I've occasionally e-mailed the people with a link to a place where it can be purchased cheaper, but it usually doesn't do any good. I guess they're hoping for a sucker with more money than they know what to do with. That said, this kind of markup is pretty insane, and I'd hope it's a typo, but...

im also hoping thats a typo that no one noticed... People on World of Warcraft actually try the same tactic on the auction house in game (as well as every other MMO im sure) in hopes of getting a sucker to take the bait. :/
