Daytona 2009 Pics -- Saturday (DUW)

Alrighty, here are all the pictures from Daytona 2009 on Saturday that came out halfway decent. This is 97 pictures, slimmed down from about 150-ish. I tried to get a photo of the species/morph/price of everything, but obviously I missed some. In some photos you'll see where I cut from another image and inserted the info, just because the other pic was taken solely for documentation purposes and that was the easiest way to include the information accurately. No photo was edited more than resizing and cropping (in MS Paint, no less!)

Hope you all enjoy, and I'd like to thank everyone for a WONDERFUL convention! I look forward to seeing everyone who was there again tomorrow, and all of you who weren't next year! Special thanks to those many people who took the time to talk with me and show me your animals. The animals might be important for the show, but it's the people who make it MEMORABLE.

And last, me holding a BEAUTIFUL blue chondro female. She was sooo sweet! You can't see much of her in this, but the rest of her body almost matched my shirt. Just makes me want a chondro all the more.

I really like that Pastel Paradox Ringer!

Great pics. Lesser clowns were the best BP's at the show IMO. Much better than I expected them to be. Overall the show was pretty disappointing to me. I may have just been too many times now, but it seems to be going slowly downhill every year. Less and less big breeders showing up. At least they turned the A/C on this year.

I was REALLY tempted to pick up a breeder sized pastel het pied male from Pete Kahl. He only wanted $250 for them which seemed ridiculously cheap to me. But, no money yet since all of my snakes laid so late this year.

How big is Daytona compared to Hamm, Germany??

Great pictures! Have never heard of the Disco ball before, much less a Pastel Disco.

Brian, I'm sorry, I've never been to the show in Hamm, but I will tell you that my house and all the property it sits on would fit inside the room the show took place in. Probably three times over. It was massive!

Robin, yeah, they said the Disco was a new morph. The disco on its own wasn't very much to look at, but the super was pretty cool. I can get a pic of the disco today if they still have it out!

No, I don't, I'm sorry. I don't recall if I got another picture today or not--I was kind of rushed since I had a 2 hour drive there (got a late start because my nephiew didn't let me sleep till 2am last night, lol.) and another 2 hours back...followed by 2 MORE hours driving my friend home! Long day. I've got more pics, but those will probably be up tomorrow. I don't think I'm going to resize and upload them all tonight, lol.

Also! Yes, it WAS a blue iguana! It was supposed to be a green iguana which had apparently turned blue at random when he was young and just stayed that way. They weren't willing to sell it!

And a teaser...I got a picture of a leeetttle baby paradox...something! You'll see it in the next batch of pictures. :) But it was really neat looking!
