decent size ball python

here is my neibhors snake that is about 13 years old. she weighed in at 3700g and that is a empty weight. does anyone know if males can get this big? the lady holding her (or him) is my neibhors wife who is about 5'7" to give a idea on the size

yea me too, i had to take a pic lol. the weight is a small numbered guess cause when i weighed the ball python it was moving around the tub not wanting to be in the tub but it was up to 4200g then down to 3700 grams so i just went off the low number

1997 i believe is what she said. she got it when it was about 2 years old and shes had it for 10 years.

how long is the ball python????

id say about 4 and 1/2 feet, i didnt measure thou.

Hope my already-big girl gets that big!! :D She's pushing 5' 1500g... she's 4 years old.

If you do a search there have been several threads about large ball pythons. Think there was a "contest" a few months ago to see who could post the largest ball. Plenty of 3500+ snakes out there even a few 5,000-6,000 gram ones. :)

i did a search on here and also googled it. the threads i looked at were mainly people talking about how they have "heard" but there were very few pics. do u have a link to that contest your talking about? i tried to search for it, with no luck

Here's my big female, the butter female was about 300 grams when the picture was taken. The female weighs more than the 3kg, my scale doen't go further... :)
