Looking for pics of hatchling Caramels
The title says it all. Post up your pics of fresh out of the eggs Caramel Albinos! I have one hanging out in the egg and it's much lighter than I would have expected. I have actually never seen a Caramel hatchling in person, just juvies and adults. Thanks!

Why don't you post a picture of the lil bugger hangin out of the egg? :)

May get just as much help going about it that way.

I'm not doubting that mine is a Caramel :) Just want to see what some others looked like coming out of the egg. I'll post mine a little later.

Looks pretty light, but I would assume it would darken a bit after the first few sheds.

At what day in the incubation period did you slice the eggs, that hatchling looks like he's not finished developing its pigmentation?

    Marc,

I generally cut between day 50 and 52. Those are at about 56 today. The normals in the Clutch are pretty well colored up.

Tough to tell.To me I think it just looks a little light in the pic due to having to look through the inner membrane.

Hey Marc..Thanks for the pic! I knew it was a Caramel, but since I have never hatched one out before and it seemed SO light, I figured I would ask. I would expect some coloration still to happen in the last couple days but I didn't figure that it'd still be so light. The pairing was DH Caramel Glow x Caramel.

    Thanks!

They certainly have. But I am doubting it since Adam @ 8 Ball produced both the DH and the Het Female. I suppose he may have had a het Hypo in the mix and not known it. :) I won't get my hopes up! I just want a healthy Caramel! :D
