Pied Question?
Ok, pieds have some bit of white below their neck line.
Has there ever been a pied that had a white head with white in the body along with blotches of a normal?

Re: Pied Question?
The only one I have seen with a white head is a Spider Pied (or so it's claimed to be). I remember seeing a post about it recently.

Isn't the spider pied the one with blotched head and the entire body white?

Yup..All the Spider Pieds produced so far have had the Spider head and a white body (that I am aware of). This year someone posted a picture of what is claimed to be a Spider Pied that has a white head. I'll see if I can find it.

I would think that so far, the only way to get that would be to have a paradox leucistic...

Jamie's right....there is a spider pied that has a white head...actually there are more than one.
Then you have Ralph's animal as mentioned.
I'm sure there will be more....makes me wonder about pieds;)

I love the variability with Pieds. To be able to produce a morph that can look so different from one animal to the next is pretty damn exciting!
I definitely think we will see some more crazy stuff happening as more things are worked into the Pied projects.
Gotta love Ball Pythons!

A regular pied, with a white head? No....that hasn't been made....yet...at least that I am aware of.
At this point it seems that all pieds (with no other morphs involved) have a patterned head. However, Greg and Pete (maybe a few others) may have a new morph that probably is an allele. Things may get interesting.
Or a "reverse" pied? Where the head is white and the pied and normal markings are reversed? Normal pattern coming up from the belly and white creeping down from the top (all regular pieds have the white starting from the belly).....that variation of the morph doesn't exist.
