    The Egg Webcam
I have been forced to go out of town on the weekend that my snake are supposed to hatch. So I have set up a webcam on them so I can check on them over the weekend. Today is day 52 for the eggs.
I thought I might let everyone else know. Check it out and let me know if I need to change anything because I am leaving tomorrow afternoon.

    Thanks

    Re: The Egg Webcam
LOL Sorry! It is a styrofoam fish shipping container with a whole in the top with a piece of glass glued to it. Then it is a 15QT tub with hatchrite, a glass top, and some vasaline to sill the edges. The whole thing is heated with two pieces of 3" flexwatt. The tub is about 4" above the floor of the incubator, it is held up with metal rods.

    Thanks

Thanks Everyone for Checking it out. It is driving me crazy having to wait.

I will be back on Tuesday night. But I will keep the cam running until they all hatch out.

I wish they where Fire Balls! They will be 50% Het Albino. Fire Ball is just a nick name my dad give me when I was younger. I was a red head.

    Re: The Egg Webcam
I just put a tub with some water in it so that way if the snakes hatch out they will have access to water.

Sorry about moving the camera. I also wiped the water off of the glass.

The eggs were in a stack from day 1. That is how the mother had them arranged.

    Thanks

point there derek , but if you look at the opposite egg ( same bit but reversed , if ya follow ! ) you can see a shadow there ...its on left side , indicating light source is from the right hand side , maybe ! lol

tell ya what , if I do this I'm gonna get me glass with a wiper blade installed !!!

I watched some GTP hatch on a webcam a while back , this has the same potential , nice one Trey

Well I think we have about 2 hours till lights out.

What say we make sure the next person who does this has to find a way of keeping the lights on 24/7?

    Re: The Egg Webcam
Ya they should just put a dark sheet over the other racks/cages and leave the lights on or maybe just change to a red light at night.
