Your Favorite Boas?

It's multiple choice, just pick which ever boas you like the most. Along with this thread, there will be a Colubrids and Pythons one. No venomous species since there are tons and that poll would take forever to do.:D

I have two RTBs (one of which is albino) and a BRB. I love all three. :D They are by far my favorites, but then again....I have yet to own any of the others listed. ;)

The Red Tails are awesome, I can't wait til' my little guy gets his full size. He's awesome to handle because he's always curious to slither around:D

Got to love the Hog Island

I adore both of my RTs. My male (the normal) is always so friendly and curious about what I'm doing. My female (the albino) is still recovering from her previous owner's neglect, but she is the sweetest thing and so very patient. Both of them are gentle and well mannered. :D

My favorites are the Corn Islands.

Columbians, Cay Caulkers and Bolivians!

Colombians (BCI) are my all time favorite Boa! I am a big fan of all the morphs!

I think they are all my favorites - lol! I had to add in other to my favorites for the Pearl Islands - and many of the other smaller locality boas.

I can't stop drooling over the BRBs...so much in fact that I will probably buy one at the tinley show...shhh

Same here. Although I like most boas, the dwarf locality boas are my favorite.

I also prefer the Colombians. I was surprised they weren't on the list since they're the most common.

The Nicaraguan red blood. They are small and the color is insane.

Now this was right up my alley. Some I don't care for much and others are just ok. The ones I picked have good points about them. You missed one of my favorites.
The BCO Argentine boas. All around favorite is the T+ argentine.

don't forget about the tree and ground boas! Solomon island ground and tree boas, viper boas, etc. i DO love them so <33

I voted for red tails, because they're the only ones I keep and I love 'em. But my favorite is a native local where I live.

Nothing compares to the feeling I get when I lift up a rotten log and find one of these!

Since the only boas I have ever owned are red tail boas, I will have to go with that as an answer. I have a pair of sunglow red tail boas, and they are both very mellow and sweet. The female (in the top picture) has some Sabogae blood in her according to her breeder's certificate, but they never got back to me when I requested more information about it. Oh well.

I do love yellow anacondas though for some reason... Maybe one day I'll have enough space to get myself a male.

I like RTB, rubber boas, and over the weekend was enticed by what Global Catve Breeders were calling Costa Rican Boas. They had a gorgeous rust color to them, and their blacks and grays were solid and beautiful.

Here is what Cutting Edge Herp says about them, link.
And what Reinrassige Boa says about them... link the first animal when you click BCI and then Costa Rica is what the animal I saw looked like in terms of coloration, didn't count middorsal blotches, but if I remember correctly, they did have fewer blotches.

BRBs, Dumeril's, and KSB.

I still love my red-tail though!

I really love the locality boas. I had a cay caulker boa a few years back. Really cool little snake. His ability to lighten and darken was very cool. Was a total sweetheart.

B.c. imperator, B.c. constrictor, B.c. longicauda, B.c. amarili, B.c. ocidentalis... you will not find a boa constrictor I do not love! My favorite, though, would definitely be the longis.

That said... you can't go wrong with a nice BCI...

I've always though that nice, clean Suri's with bright tails were teh hotness :D

I still like the red tail boas, and this is my new personal favorite that I recently added to my collection. She is a hypo motley het albino. I just love her red tail!

I'm still having trouble getting images to display directly on the post. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong here?

I know this thread is old, but after owning my Dumerils Boa for quite a few weeks now, I officially love her more than my BP. She's got an awesome laid back attitude and never misses a meal. She's an absolute garbage disposal. :D
