Yb + Yb = what chance Ivory + others ;)
    Hello folks.

Im from Denmark so sorry if i dont express myself correctly, but i find this forum very interesting and it already gave me alot of knowledge :)

Im very keen on making an Ivory, but what are the chances to get one if i make 2 Yellow Bellies breed?

    Bonus questions: :P

What other cool morphs could i get from a Yellow Belly?, only know YB Pastel and Ivory

I know Pastel + Pinstripe can make a Lemon Blast, but does the sex on the animals matter? I mean does the Pastel HAS to be a male, and the Pinstripe a female or the other way around?

Again, Pastel + Spider can make a Bumblebee, but what are the chances for that? And "does the sex matter"?

Hope u can understand my language! :)

    Best regards, Mads

I believe its 25% ivory 25% YB and 50% normal. I am sure I am wrong. Ahh I am pretty buzzed lol. :carouse: as for the sex question there it doesn't seem to make a difference that I have seen. Its still up to chance. Maybe if every blast and bee every made was added up and the parent sex combo was figured in and you took an average it may go one way or the other but i will say no. :)

    Also Welcome to the forum

With a yellow belly X yellow belly pairing it is 50% yellow belly, %25 ivory, %25 normal. With a pastel X spider pairing it is %25 pastel,%25 spider, %25 normal, and %25 bumble bee. I got these results using the genetic wizard on http://www.worldofballpythons.com/wizard/

Denmark??!! WOW!! Our site is so cultured!! :D Do a lot of people keep snakes there? My friend's boyfriend is from Ireland, and he said there are NO snakes there.

    Hello,
I will save you $$$. If your Pastel is a Male. But I entirely depends on what your goal is.

If you got 1 male Pastel, and the females are Pinstripe & Spider. You can get Lemonblast & Bumblebee.
But these three morphs are the basic of designer morphs.

    Pastel x Pin = Lemonblast
    Pastel x Spider = Bumblebee
Pastel x Pastel = Super Pastel
    Pin x Spider = Spinner

My favorite YB combo is the Super Stripe (YB x Whirlwind/Spector). :gj:

Well, i dot think its as popular as in the US, but we have alot of people breeding on morphs in Denmark, and they´ve been doing it for several years!
Lessers, Pins, Spiders, YB's etc, are kinda normal, but Piebalds, Clowns, Ivories etc etc, are still rare i guess :)

Well i was planning on getting a female Pastel for a start, and maybe a female YB to, but i guess i can get Lemonblasts and Bumblebees if the Pin and Spider are male to right?

Thanks for the answers, really a nice forum :)

Yellow Belly (Pumpkin) Pieds are nice too...
odds should be 25% no matter if the spider is the dad or the mom

And it doesnt matter wether the Pastel is a Graziani, Lemon or Bell line when making Supers right? Its all just pastels.
I will still get 50 Super pastels/50 grazianis pairing a Super Pastel and normal a Graziani for example?

If i used Supers in the Bumblebee and Lemonblasts, the odds are the same and all right?

    Regards Mads :)
