Aww... I had to show that to my mom. Such sweet faces in that video ^_^

Well had the folks here not helped me see that it's about the owner and not the breed I might never had the nerve to own Marrok. I was pretty afraid of all the breeds that have that "look". Without that dog in our home though I probably could not sleep with Mike on nights and our recent break-in so I owe them big time.

Oh and speaking of Marrok and dogs of his like. We just had a big old shouting match over next door (the thugs we figure broke in here). Really sounded scary and was spilling over on to my front lawn. Marrok, stitches in his crotch, just had surgery yesterday still got right up, went to the window and warned them off our property. They got the point right away and that wonderful dog stood guard until the one causing the problem left the area.

Boy am I grateful to have him around. :)

Any animal has the ability to cause damage, it is up to the caretaker to train and provide the animal with love to give it a good temperment.

He's doing really well all things considered. Getting massive amounts of sympathy from my husband Mike though - I think it's a guy thing. :rolleyes:

Well said. Marrok has enough power to be a dangerous animal, however, he's been trained well, socialized well and as much as it's his job to guard our home and family, he's a very loved pet first and foremost.
