Had a smoke and GF caught me!
Ok, I really officially quit back in the beginning of the year but I have one at work once in a blue moon.
It's cool because I can leave it without buying a pack or even thinking about the next one.
I think I pretty much kicked the addiction but just have one out of boredom here and there with my co-workers.
Well yesterday my dumb*** had one in the morning and then she came over and didn't smell it on my hands, clothes, or my breathe.
She smelled it coming from my nose.
My guesses are either the smoke smell stuck to my nose hairs or even was coming from my lungs.
Is there a way to eliminate the smell coming from your nose?
Any ideas?

So true.
I have the will power so there is no point in screwing things up not out of 'Need' but boredom.
Stupidity on my part.
Re: Had a smoke and GF caught me!
Yes, Quit smoking!! :gj:
The only thing that comes to my mind is the ozone generator, build one and attached it to your resperatory system!!! LOL :colbert: Just kidding
I know how it feels, I've smoking for a long time and every time I decide to quit I get a few beers and then start again.
Re: Had a smoke and GF caught me!
Take it from someone that dated a smoker and personally despised it, nothing covers that smell.. He always did it behind my back, and I always knew.
Re: Had a smoke and GF caught me!
Yes. Your only option is to scent your nose with an ASF :rolleye2:
Then have a wild-caught Python bite said nose off :snake:
LOL, JK.
Don't Smoke :colbert:
Re: Had a smoke and GF caught me!
If you are still smoking, even out of boredom, then you have not beat the addiction.
Re: Had a smoke and GF caught me!
You could always try the gum...my mom and dad "quit" about 13 years ago with the gum and after a few months of the gum my mom was able to stop the gum and hasn't smoked since. My dad unfortunately got hooked on the gum and since then has been keeping nicorette in business.
Or you could go with cigars...you'll still get busted and yelled at but at least it'll taste better :D
Re: Had a smoke and GF caught me!
I smoked for years and I didn't realize how bad it smells until I quit. I can definitely sniff out the smokers in a crowd, and I feel ashamed when I think that I used to stink like that. I hate going into smokers houses and having to sit next to them on planes and I absolutely will not date a woman who smokes. Maybe I am just more sensitive to it because I used to do it. And yes, I admit I even tried to have one occasionally but it made me feel physically sick and both times I wasn't able to finish the smoke. I allso started running several times a week because I was finally able to breathe again. The more I run, the more my lungs clear out, subsequently I have lost about 40 lbs  But one thing I hate is when I'm running and someone drives by in a car with a smoke. I don't rag on people for smoking. That is their choice, my choice is to avoid them. If you are serious about quitting the easiest way to do it is 1) avoid all the gimmicks 2) Do it on a Friday. Throw away your smokes, lighters and ashtrays. Spend all weekend washing your clothes and cleaning the smell out of your house. 3) start doing things outside, jogging, walking, anything. After a few days you will notice that you can actually smell fresh air and that the smell of cigarettes on other people will bother you. 4) always keep some tooothbrushes and toothpaste handy. When you think you need a smoke, just go brush your teeth the craving will pass, and your teeth get whiter. And 5) stay out of bars and places that allow smoking for at least a month. Always remember: the physical addiction to nicotine is gone after 3 days. Everything else is just breaking the mental habit.
Sorry for the long post but I wanted to share what worked for me and I smoked for 22 years...
Re: Had a smoke and GF caught me!
Thanks guys but really.
I can start from this point on and have no problems getting away smoking.
The point to this thread really was to see why the smell was coming from my nose and how to get it out of there.
I should have been more direct I guess.
