i have 9 females in one tank..............................took the prego out B4 she gave birth....................then BAM she gave birth................
if you got that part...........which i dont think you did...........to clear it up. i have several tanks i removed the prego because no one else is and earlier this week all the females ganged up one the male and killed him..........so i wanted to make sure my prego was away from any potential hazards

The major consensus around here is that 1 male to 2 females is most productive. If you create trios while they are young, you never have to add or take away individuals. They will work together as a unit.

I run 1.4 with success. With their gestation cycles, it averages to one litter per week.

You shouldn't have removed her.... for lots of reasons. You also should have 9 females in one enclosure! Please read through some of these threads, including the caresheet (the sticky on the top of this forum)
