    spider pastel butter lesser
So if you pair a butter and a pastel or spider what are your chances of what?

And I was told if you pair a lesser and a pastel or spider you have a chance of

bees spiders pastels lesser and norms. If that is true, wouldn't it mean you

would come out with same results for the butter X pastel or spider pair because

a lesser and butter is pretty much the same gene, correct?

lesser and butter are basicly the same to me

i think with lesser x spider you get lesserbee
and then a bumble bee x lesser you get honey bee... i think... lol

i would assume that it would be pretty close to being the same if you swap a butter for the lesser.... not sure though

    Just to clarify something I'm not sure I am reading correctly;

If your pairing is a lesser being bred to pastel and also to a spider the you would not be able to get any bumblebees as each egg can only have two parents and if lesser (or butter ) is definately one of them then it would be impossible for both the necessary pastel and spider genes to be inherited from the only remaining "parent" slot.

Lesser x pastel - lessers, pastels, pastel lessers and normals.
Lesser x spider - lesserbees, lessers, spiders, normals.

So anything "bee" aside from the lesserbee would be a multi-generation project using only those morphs.

Now that should have confused everyone else.

    Re: spider pastel butter lesser
Thank you very much for the help but what I was trying to say was. What would be the chances of getting what if I bred a lesser to a pastel OR spider. And a butter to a pastel OR spider.

    correct if wrong:
lesser X pastel = lesser, pastel, pastel lesser, norm.
lesser X spider= lesser, spider, lesserbee, norm
butter X spider= butter bee, spider, butter, norm.
    butter X pastel= ????the same as less.Xpast.

I heard that a butter X alot of things makes a BEL, true???? If so what??

And since the butter and pastel are pretty much the same thing, wouldn't that make the lesserbee, and butterbee the same thing?

I'm just confused because I have a butter OR lesser arriving in a month and I'm trying to figure out the options I will have with the current bp's I currently have

Sorry, I know that was alot of questions. But, it would be much appreciated for any help. THANK YOU!!!!!

    Hi,

Can't work the percentages sorry.

It's 6am for me and I'm about to pass out - if I attempt math at this point I may never know how many fingers I have for sure in the future. :rolleye2:

Butter x anything else in the "blue eyed white snake complex" will make a BEL I think. The thread on BEL's would be your best guide there.

I personally cannot tell the difference between butters and lessers with anything resembling accuracy either. :(

The examples on the NERD collection page look different - but I have no idea if all examples conform to that or if there is a "blurring of the lines" in the middle.

    Butterbee page.

    Lesserbee page.

those percentages look right and like Dr. Del said a butter x another BEL producer would make a BEL
