    Spider or not?
The wife came across these guys at a local pet store they have what she says looks to be a spider. The price is definitely right at 60$. If they are I may just pick up all three :) They are advertised as normals. So let me know what you think. There is also a yellow one with similar patternshttp://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...c/IMG00011.jpghttp://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...c/IMG00010.jpghttp://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...c/IMG00009.jpg

In no way, shape or form, do they resemble spiders.

When in doubt, Google the specimen(s) in question, and compare color and/or markings.

There are some morphs out there that are not as obvious, but the spider is very obvious.

The one looks to have what you might consider a reduced pattern but they are normal. If that is a chain store they are almost certainly imports and may not eat very well for you.You might do better to go to a local reptile show and buy some that were born here.

100% nomal... no doubt about it. I definitely would not call them reduced either.... reduced have no or very little alien heads in the pattern. the ones in the pictures are full of alien heads.

They are just plain jane normals.

No offense but the above picture isn't the best picture to use as an example of a spider. It is NOT a normal looking spider if it is in fact a spider. The white spots on the belly and the tail section do lead me to believe that it is a spider, just not the best example.

Take a look at my low white spider notice the brown/green eyes, the pattern without alien heads, the white belly spots:

Again ctansys, not trying to knock your snake or anything, just trying to make the defining features of a spider clearer to the OP.
