3 weeks

i have had my blond pastel for 3 weeks now and she still wont eat

i got temps right humidity right 2 hides both small and dark inside

what else could it be im really puzzled and frustrated about it

Start out by letting us know what you have tried. Live? F/T? Mice? Rats? etc.

Also, are you the one who posted about getting your pastel from MorphMakers? I'd call or email Steve & Cindy and ask them exactly what their feeding routine was with this snake, and try to replicate it as closely as possible.

yeah im gonna call them tonight

they did say they were feeding live mice and rat pinkys but mostly mice
ive tried both
still nothing

I think I saw a thread by you where you built a stack of enclosures that were 4x2. If she's still young and you have her in one of those, it could be the excessive amount of space thats stressing her out.

What type & size of enclosure do you have her in?

its about the size of a 10gal

i dont have the half long in there anymore i have a 3 level cave which she loves

i would recommend a much, much smaller hide. get two of them, identical, one on the hot side one on the cool side.

also, what is that substrate?
