Some crossed the salmon trait into BCC blood, but for the most part it's all BCI.

Visual? As in pure BCC Hypos? No. The "salmon" trait is a name given to the "hypos" produced by Rich and John at Salmonboa.com. That's all they are, Salmon=Hypos. The Salmon trait is just a name given to the Hypos that STEM from Panamanian bloodlines. Like Orangetail is the name given to most Hypos from PURE Panamanian Central American bloodlines. 99.9% of the Hypos or Salmons you see marketed are mixed from one of those two bloodlines. The Salmons are outcrossed enough to be legitimately given the name Colombian, but they are not 100% pure Colombian.

What does a typical Salmon Boa go for? I just picked up a 5 yo male who was breed at East Bay Viviariun in Berkley, CA. I go him from the original owner who is moving out of country.

Picked him up for $80 with his tank

I will have a pic tonight after my daughter goes to bed

So 80 for the male is pretty good? He's a bit smaller than I expected, 4ft, and the previous owner has him on F/T large mice.

I have live rats for my BP that I already have and was curious as to if it would be okay if I switched the boa to live rats, possibly PK if he wont take live

I was a live feeder but found it easier to feed f/t when I got my boa.. I used to feed my balls Live but as they get larger it may be a problem feeding rats to snakes live.. rats tend to fight back... lol but i'd try p/k or f/t over live any day now... all mine are finally on f/t so U'd go f/t or pk JMO

Previous owner said his tail was cut because of a bad shed when he was very young and he lost the tip.
