    Caramel Albino vs. Hypo Butter?
Can anyone explain the difference of these morphs? I was offered a Caramel Albino for cheap from a friend and I was all for another female caramel but when I saw some hypo butters for sale on ks and I realized I couldn't tell them apart. Heck even my so called "caramel albino" female may be a hypo butter instead which would explain the reason I've never had a kinked baby. The male I bred her to was her son so I didn't buy him as a het anything which has really got me wondering lol. Anyway, I'll try to post a picture of female my friend has after I go over to his house tomorrow. Any help would be greatly appreciated because this is driving me crazy at the moment.:weirdface

A Caramel is a single recessive trait. A Hypo Butter is a combination between Hypo (recessive) and Butter (Co-Dominant, with the super form being an all-white snake).

I need to look at a picture of a Hypo Butter before trying to state physical differences. I haven't seen a picture in a while.

There is a disgustingly awesome ghost butter for sale on KS, if I had the funds and if it was from a different seller I'd pick it up in a second.

That is a very nice Hypo Butter Carlo. However, I see none of the purple tints in that animal that a Caramel Albino would have. If you can't tell the difference between a Caramel and Hypo Butter, it is probably because the quality of the pictures is poor (of which Carlo's is a good example of high picture quality). Place the two animals next to each other, and you should have no problem picking the two apart.

    Hypo Butter.

I don't want to work with the Caramel line because of the kinks they get in their spines.

    Are you talking about bigdadywholesales?

Ive seen some hypo butters/lessers in person and Id take one anyway over a caramel.

You should be able to see a noticable difference in the eye colour in addition to the lack of "purple" as already noted.
