    Quick question
Before I even try this, has anyone made a Caramel Albino Spider?

I would hate to waste the Caramel female for a "project" if someone has already done it.

    That is a great project.
Having a female recessive is the best way to make an awesome codom/recessive cross.
Depending on what else you have, if you had a double codom I would recommend going that route.
I say do it. I'm not going to tell you if they exist.
    Who cares if they do.

You can't "waste" your female going this direction.
Obviously the morph is not abundant, otherwise you would not need to ask.
Just be prepared for some deformities. Not saying it will happen but both morphs have some quirks.
    Good luck.
    Keep everyone posted.

This thread is the closest thing I could find to an answer as to whether or not it has been done:

I don't understand your comment about not wasting the female is someone has done it. Who cares? If it is a project that interests you, then do it!

It hasn't been done yet to my knowledge, but it will more than likely be done this season..

Well I wanted to do something that no one has done before. For once lol. I didn't mean waste like throw away or something, just wanted to do something that's never been done. I put them together when I got home from work. I understand the head wobble but mine do not show it often. I admit they have it but you hardly ever see it. the caramel is great though, I breed some of these before and never noticed anything. What king of defects are you talking about?

I also thought about black pastel to spider breeding or lemon pastel to black pastel to see what I would get. Heck I might rotate the males with a few female morphs.

    Re: Quick question
It sounds to me like you could use more research. It may be that your care of the animals is top notch, however you don't seem to know a lot about morphs & morph combos. The issue with kinking in caramels is fairly well known, as is the fact that a pastel x black pastel will result in black pewters (plus more pastels, black pastels, and normals of course).

As far as doing something no one has done before, I understand the desire to do that. However, almost any project you can think of has already been started by someone, so it is unlikely that you would be first to produce it. Your best chance might be to get a new morph that hasn't been put in many combos yet, but that can be very expensive. So really it is best to go with things you like.

    Re: Quick question
I had heard about kinking in caramels but never had any myself and hadn't heard of any of my close friends having this problem. I figured it was a fluke that may have happened when they first were created and after some new genetics were added in it kind of washed out. As far as the black pewter, I got out of breeding for the last two years and just recently came back so there is some catching up to do lol I agree.

I even read on the Nerd site that a caramel albino is supposed to have red eyes.........is this true? Mine doesn't, and she came from a very well know breeder.
