Breeders in Germany

Once I finish high school (in two years) I am moving back to Germany for University. It's not worth it to buy any more snakes here due to the high export/import cost plus the tons of paperwork.
Does anybody know the names of any good breeders in Germany, or in Europe who are willing to ship to Germany?

Also which are the most common medical procedures for snakes and what are the costs?

And the penultimate question does anybody know the taxes for snakes in Germany?

And the final question. Do you know if its better to buy a rack/cage here and take it with me to Germany or just buy one in Germany?

Here's one - dunno why he keeps sending me his newsletter because I don't speak a lick of german. :oops:

Shipping within the european union should be a breeze as no cites paperwork or anything would be required as far as I know. I have never done it however so take that with a pinch of salt.

There are some great shows in europe apparently - never made it to them either. :oops:

Hamburg is supposedly one of the best so it might be worth checking that out as I think it is fairly regular.

No clue on the costs of vet treatments or taxes in germany I'm afraid.

And I think it would definately be better to buy your cages or racks in germany - shipping anything that size and bulk would have to be extortionate I would have thought.

I just checked pricing on that site. 679Euro for a Mojave and over 1000 for a Lesser Platinum Female :O
that's really steep I'm curious if its actually cheaper to just buy them before I leave and pay the CITE paperwork and import fee.

I didn't mean medical procedures in Germany I meant in general just so I know how much I should add to the keeping costs of each BP

Huge reptile show in Germany, should be able to pick up snakes there..
From experience it is probably the biggest show in Europe along with Houten in Holland.

Do you know if the prices are cheaper at the expo's or if they remain the same? Because if a mojo is already over 700euro (with tax) then it's easier to just have family bring them from U.S.

It really isn't - they cant be carried as hand luggage or anything like that.

The breeder might just be expensive for all I know - it was just the first link I found. But trust me when I looked into it I discovered that while I could get a lesser for half the price in America it would cost me more than the savings to import it.

I'm a breeder in sweden and the prices are a lot higher here in europe but M&S is one of the more expensive ones. I sell lessers for 600 euros, so you can get them cheaper from another breeder.
