The woma X lessers are GORGEOUS!!! I went to the NARBC show here this weekend and came across a female woma at BHB that I could not pass up! It never hurts to experiment with other crosses. I can't wait to see what she can produce!

From what I understand not all Lesser x Woma crosses are that great, just the ones with the "hidden gene". I think the ones that NERD has have the "hidden gene" which makes the snake look substantially nicer.

Does that mean any other lines of womas that are not from nerd doesn produce those beauties? And can anyone enlighten a newbie like me to the issue regarding super womas or the pearls?

I've heard alot of issues about the super woma or "pearl". The failure to thrive issue is what seems to be the most prevalent. I'd search around the threads here some more looking for stuff on pearls and womas, I remember reading threads on their genetics and you should be able to find them.

But it is a nice color with just the woma x lemon pastel crossed to the lesser and essentially the "hidden gene" will increase the looks, I'm not sure what the alle aligned does to increse this color to be so intensed to look like the soul sucker. I'm doing my reasearch still.

AFAIK, the H-G woma and the regular woma are not the same types. The H-G is the key to Soul Suckers, Infernos, and most of the "woma" combos that NERD produces. I'm not positive if the Pearl is the Super H-G Woma or the regular Woma, or both.

I only know of 3 people in the US that are working with the H-G woma.

Ya the Hidden gene woma is NOT the same as the "regular' Woma. So unless you got it from NERD it wont produce a Soulsucker, Inferno Ect. The hidden gene part does a LOT!
