    reguge problem
so this is the second week in a row i fed the little guy and he regurgitates days after eating.the first time it looked like poop, this time its lighter colored.im taking him to the vet monday or tuesday but wondering wat could be the problem.it looks to me like its been digested so i dunno why he is spitting it out.could he be stopped up or is this a infection or parasite issue?i have not handled him since feeding.any help?

People are going to ask for all the husbandry details, including me:)

What size snake? What size prey?

the snake is about 90 grams and eats 1 hooper or a small mouse.last week was a hopper, this week a lil bigger than a hopper.i wasnt sure if he regurged last week but i seen it this time.it was horrible.the skin around the neck and bottom was all twisted looking.after the regurge he looks fine.he is in a ten gallon tank.here is a pic

Well everything seems to be fine with the setup. One small thing is to use identical hides, but that won't cause a regurge.

Best thing to do is to go ahead and take it to the vet. Let us know what comes out of it.

It could be a parasite or a bacterial infection. Do you get your rodents from a good source?
You say you weren't sure if the first time was an actual regurgitation but the second time you were sure but this was a larger meal. It could very well have been just too large of a prey item this time because there is no mistaking a regurgitated rodent. The smell is horrible.

If it had no smell then it wasn't a regurge. I would say that it was probably the larger meal that caused the regurge and to switch prey size to a small hopper.
Give the snake a week to recover from the stress of regurgitating the last meal and then offer a small meal. If regurgitation occurs, get him to a vet ASAP!

I must have misread. I didn't realize this was the second occurrence. Definitely get him to a vet. They may or may not be able to get a good sample from the rodent but put it in a ziplock bag and stick it in the fridge and take it with you just in case they can use it. Do you get your rodents from a good source? Is it possible for you to get another rodent from the same source to take with you to the vet so that they can get a good sample from it.
