Professing my love...

For TIVO!! I've been using DVRs since they first came out and at one time was a really bad TV addict. I think I watched every sitcom and hour long drama that was on. I started out with ReplayTV and thought it was the best thing ever. For a while I had to use the cable company DVR and hated it. A few years ago I got my first Tivo and was hooked. I now have 2 of the HD Tivos and couldn't be happier. I love always having something recorded. Recently Tivo was updated and I can now access Youtube through it. Amy has turned me on to Kitchen Nightmares UK (I have only watched the US version). I love the show and luckily some people have put up pretty much all the UK episodes on Youtube. We have been going through them like crazy! I watch a lot less TV these days but I still watch my fair share including most trashy reality shows. Adam got me into watching Intervention last year and this year he clued me in to Flipping Out which is probably my favorite new show of the year. Anyway, that's my story. Who else loves the Tivo or DVRs in general?

We have have an HD one right now in the living room with 1000 things recorded. I used to have one in my room when we had a different service, I could record all my snake shows...LOL. I got the only room in the house that has some plug they needed, and they had to install the DVR their.:confuzd:

Yup, I too love my DVR. It's come in really handy the last couple weeks for the LATE LATE night sessions of the Olympics... :gj: I don't know if I could go without one now that I've had it for over a year...

It's probably not the same thing, but we download and watch all kinds of TV shows!

Right now were are in the middle of Monk, Psyche, Robin Hood and Criminal Minds! :D I can't freakin wait for september when Heroes, Lost, The Sheild, Rescue Me and many more start up again!

Geesh Jamie! I saw that thread title and thought....."awww how sweet, Jamie's going to write something nice about Amy".

Ya rotten man! Amy you should bop him with that Tivo right on top of his Tivo-watchin head! :rofl:

I'm just trying to tidy you up some so she won't kick ya to the curb, Jamie! Geesh you need to turn off that dang Tivo and make with the nicey nice with Amy! *slips you a twenty* Now go buy her some flowers, tell her that her butt looks good in those new jeans and make nice! How am I ever going to get you married off and saddled with a bunch of kids at this rate! :P
