Show me your Red Tail Boa Tanks/Tubs/Aquariums?
I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna set up the tank for Rambo. I've had him for about 3 weeks now and he still hasn't used any of his hides and seems to wander the cage constantly. I'm tryin to figure out how to make him more comfy.

I like the look of foresty tanks. I've got some fake ferns I'm going to put in there and hes got some fake moss he crawls around in.

    Give me inspiration guys! :D

I want to see some too, I'm interested in red tailed boas, I'd like to see some additional terrariums, do you have smaller ones for the babies? do is a 75 gallon the biggest you'll need?

I don't know the length of a 75g but I know that an adult female will need a 6ft enclosure at least. A male might not.
I saw an adult female at the pet store that they said was an RTB.. it looked more like another type of boa but I wouldn't know.. It was in a 125 gallon tank which seemed like a perfect size for her.

    :]

I don't know what the dimensions are on a 75 gal tank, but a grown boa will need a 4x2, with large females needing a 6x2. Tanks in general are a poor idea for boas. A grown boa is stronger than you think and can push out of a screen top if the mood takes her. Getting an AP or Boaphile is a better way to go as far as security and humidity/temp control.

Ooops, you're right- I ought to have been more clear in my post...
All of my girls will get a 6x2x2 reptile cage from AP. Grown boas are very strong and so I will choose the glass sliding door option for my girls. I'm certain that they would be able to push out a plexi door ;)

I'm guessing that keeping a boa in a tank might be a little tricky!! :O
