That could be an absess. You might wanna considere a quick trip to the Vet, just to be safe.

Im not usually one to jump on the VET bandwagon, but with an animal like that, I would.

It looks like an enlarged heart, wich can be fatal. I would feed it very small prey items. I have seen animals with enlarged hearts live many years, others are not as fortunate.

I just called them, She said, there is nothing we can do at this point, we have a 24hr return policy. :rage::rage::rage::rage:, I said, hey, I didn't think to look for small bumps around the snakes heart when I brought him home, I let him get used to his cage. Then she was giving me some talk about how my friend probably did "poked the snake with a stick" and caused a bump, and the mites were my fault, totally blaming everything on me. Then she told me to take it up to there store, and they will let me know if the snake is sick or not, then if it is, leave hundreds of dollars of vet bills for me to pay for, for things I didn't bestow upon this animal. I noticed the mites when I got home, I thought oh no biggy I will just fix the problem, Then after that, I started looking for mites, all over his body and there were no more, but as I was looking I noticed the bump. She told me not to take it to a vet because I will kill the snake that way, when I have a great vet who has so far proven to be the best vet I have ever had. AHHHHHHH:mad::rage:

I am not a fan of LLL but they sold me a very sick RTB about a year and a half ago and it died within a month.

Sounds like a real pickle my friend. I would have called the moment I noticed the Mites. Also, call and ask for the manager, but keep a very professional and curtious tone. How you really like the store yada yada yada, you really like doin business with them, but your just very scared about this snake, and it wasnt cheap, yada yada yada.

You prolly get further with that approach than any other.
