Interesting Craigslist ad
I was just browsing the Rhode Island craigslist and saw this.
"I have a 22ft reticulated python male that you can have for free if interested. I have tried since it was a baby to calm it down and it is just never going to happen. It is a project to clean his room you need three people, one to hold his head and two on the body. He will continuously strike at you and is very very feisty. I have 4 others that are great but this one is mental I am not going to lie it is MENTAL. If your interested please contact me and make sure that you have experience with a snake of this size because its not the same as a red tail boa thats 8ft and can barely kill a rat that people walk down the street with to show off. If your serious and have a place for him (no tanks are made big enough you need something custom I sub divided my basement in four segments for these guys) Contact me there is no re-homing fee and I will help you move him. He is also eating 1 pig a week or a couple chickens."

Well he is being completely honest about it so I don't see a problem. he admits he just doesnt want to deal with it ;)
Re: Interesting Craigslist ad
Who can blame him!? i wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing there is a 22ft snake that is that mean in my basement!
Re: Interesting Craigslist ad
pig a week seems excessive.
Re: Interesting Craigslist ad
This is whats wrong with this hobby and why its in jeopardy. If the animal is that aggressive why on earch would you feed it up to that size and then continue to overfeed it.

I would make a few belts and 40 pairs of boots with him
Re: Interesting Craigslist ad
What should the guy do? Is there anything he CAN do to help the snake? Or should it be put down?
Re: Interesting Craigslist ad
There really is NO easy way to deal with this situation.
It should be put in a zoo or put down. If it's aggressive, having it as a pet will not be realistic at this point. :[
