New Here!!

Hey Everyone! I've been snooping around for the past 3 weeks and have obsessed over every thread.

I had recently bought my friend a Corn Snake about 2 months ago and she loves it. So in return she decided for her and my friends to pitch in and buy me a Ball Python. So, three weeks ago they decided to bring me to Petco and buy me one. I had found out earlier that day that I would be getting one. So I rushed online and looked at all the things to pay attention to make sure I picked a healthy one. So I let "her" settle and named her Layla. She already eats adult sized f/t mice. Everything has been going well since then.

:bow:I would just like to thank everyone here for the advice given and opinions and the discussions that you guys have had. I have learned more about snakes in 3 weeks then I had ever known in the course of my 22 years of living!!:bow:

BTW, the picture I have of Layla is of the night I got her. I will have her new updated pics Sunday!

Oh I pretty much do have an addiction already. I have another addiction. Aquariums, I live at college and I have 3 freshwater aquariums and a Saltwater aquarium.

Gratz and welcome! I purchased my first about 2 months ago and just got my second one today. :D

Wow. The response is fast too. I think I found my new friends...lol. Like I said I can't wait to add more pictures. I'm on Spring Break now and had to take my snake home with me. I had to deal with my mom freaking but she held Layla and she loves Ball Pythons now. So back Sunday to campus. I have to smuggle her in. Ooops! I'm a bad boy!:cool:

Hey there, welcome to the site! Nice to hear you "converted" your mom. Bps are awesome, I even got my 89 year old grandmother to pet my big female. And she is terrified of snakes.

Hahahah. Nice!!! My grandma was iffy about it. But she is ok now. BTW! To anyone, I'm open to ideas or thoughts. So any hints or suggestions on BP care that would be awesome.

Another thing, will I get used to calling them balls? I'm a college student and I can't help but think like an immature 15 yr old boy sometimes..lol. Topics such as, "I Got Two New Balls Today" make me laugh tooo hard.:lick:
