What would you get?

So, its not even close to the time for me to get my next check (and my last :( ) but I'm tossing some ideas around in my head on what to add next to my group of ball pythons. So far I have one 100% het pied male, a normal female and two pastels, one male and one female.

In May, I get a nice check in the mail and the majority of it I'm going to save, little to invest, some for school, and some for ball pythons. The amount I'm taking out for ball pythons? $2000.

I've already got some ideas of what to spend that on, but I was wondering what would you get if you were to spend $2000 on just ball python morphs. I know $2000 won't buy you much, but just wondering.

Really depends on what you want, my next choices would be a pinstripe, mojo, if you want to breed a couple really nice normal females. Maybe even a ghost/hypo they make some awesome combos.

Well here is what I'm considering getting. One of the expensive ones or a combination of the more affordable ones.

Spider male
Pair of het albinos
Albino
Het Pied female
Mojave
Pinstripe

Something along those lines.

I totally forgot about the spider! So do you plan to breed or just pets?

You know with that much to spend you could pick up a good portion of that list, especially if you find them all from the same breeder you will probably get a way better deal.

I plan to breed. I believe my first season will be '09-'10. There is already money set aside for another rack so I'll have room for four more snakes come May.

You could get a Pied Female, and I don't know any breeder who wouldn't throw in a het. male with her. With that you could produce Pieds in three seasons.

A het pied is definatly on my list, but I just can't seem to find any. I'd probably get one of those now if I could find one for a decent price. :D
