Re: What do you think of this Terra.
ball pythons are not arboreal animals, they need floor space, not vertical space. Did you build that before you got these animals? If so, that would work well for an arboreal animal or a carpet. I hope everything works out for you.
Re: What do you think of this Terra.
But the triangel floor is 120x120x170 so i think its more then ok whith floor space. but im woreed that the snake will not handel the climbing and fall down, is this a issue? i only have 1 snake now in a 100x50x50 cm cage. but im building this so i can have space to 1 more.

Hi, Welcome to the forum:)
I agree that that terrarium would work great for an arboreal species.
However, ball pythons are not arboreal. I have found that mine is actually quite clumsy and doesn't use the branches I used to provide.
Ball pythons are solitary animals, and do not enjoy the company of another. It can be hard on them and create stress. You could run into many, many problems. You would also need to quarantine your new snake for 60 to 90 days to ensure the health of both of the animals.
Here is some info on Ball pythons

There are many ways to safely house ball pythons separately with out spending tons of money. Search the forums for threads about using tubs, or rack systems that many of the members here use.
Re: What do you think of this Terra.
Well, BP's should never really be kept more than one to an enclosure...so if you want another you'd have to have a separate cage. Also, no BP would be comfortable at all in the one you built as they do not climb more than about 6" and they are very prone to falling since they're heavy bodied land snakes.
That terrarium would be perfect, however, for a carpet python (as stated) or an iguana or other arboreal reptile.
EDIT: Ah, Kristy beat me to it. :) Yeah, do look at the caresheets and maybe look into the care of a few height lovers as well.
Re: What do you think of this Terra.
TOO big and not suited for BP
First
1 Ball Python = 1 Enclosure so 2 Ball Pythons = ????
There is absolutely no benefit in housing multiple snakes together, it can create problems such as stress, going of feed, spreading of diseases and/or parasites, premature breeding, injuries, even cannibalism.
Second
Floor space is more important than height, BP are ground dwellers.
Enclosure for an adult does not have to be larger than 91x45x48cm
Ideally you want to start with a small size enclosure and upgrade as your BP grows.
Re: What do you think of this Terra.
Aw man, what a beautiful enclosure. good job, that's sweet. It's too bad it may not work out for the BPs. Maybe you could get some lizards and turn it into a lizard party. I've always wanted to do something like your setup one day, with something like chinese water dragons.

I agree, depending on the demensions a Chinese water dragon would be perfect!!

Hey the cage looks amazing ZOO quality stuff right there! What you can do is get a green tree python! amazing looking snakes and would work well in that cage.

Re: What do you think of this Terra.
Thanks for good advice and respons.
i will follow your advice, and i going put in a plate on the middle.
i just cut the tree in 2 and i fit in a plate, then i have 2 cages that are 80x120x120 cm.
this will only cost about 30 euro more.
