    Hey Everyone,

    I have recently been trying to find a good program for playing around with my pics, I need one that will allow me to add text to the photo and crop it as i choose. Does anyone have any suggestions???

    Gimp is said to be like photo shop only free. Ive never used it i have photoshop from what ive herd it will get done what needs to be done. Might not do all the stuff photoshop does but have herd nothing but good things about it.

    Does anyone have any experience with Adobe Photoshop? I have it on my computer but have no idea how to do the things I want to do...lol

    I use Photoshop, and only Photoshop.

    I want to crop my pictures, but i want to be able to crop out the background on some of my snake pictures. For example if you look at my aviator picture I would like to crop out the background and replace it with another color or background.

    I would also like to put a water mark on my photos, with my logo. Along those same lines I want to add text to pictures.

    Nathan - I will defiantly like your help!!

    true watermarks are difficult, but you can "stamp" your images by creating a new layer, putting your logo on that, and reducing the layer opacity to the desired level.

    isnt that what a true water mark is. i have a BS in digital art and thats how i was taught to do water marks
