Crossing our Fingers

Yesterday we were apartment hunting and decided to put in an application into one not far from where we both live now. We are supposed to get an answer tomorrow. She said we had everything we needed and we just have to wait on the credit check. Both of us just got credit cards this past spring and summer to help build our credit, so we are hoping we have at least a little good credit.

The apartment is a two bedroom hardwood floor which means we get a snake room! If we do get accepted and are able to move in, move in day is the 24th....of this month! :O:O:O

Right now I am really praying to the apartment gods that we get this apartment. :bow::bow::bow:

My boyfriend and I just recently had to go through all that. Our situation was especially stressful because we were being booted out of our old apartment by the end of that month, and at the time we were viewing the apartment another couple walked in! It was literally a race to the clubhouse to put our name on it -lol- It was so stressful. In the end though, we won. Now we're looking for another apartment because our roommates are leaving to get married and start a "real life" and we cant afford this place on our own. I'm tired of moving! :rolleyes:

Yea, our situation is that we can not get a co-signer. None of our parents can or are willing to co-sign so this is something we have to do on our own. So far everywhere we've been they tell us they need a co-signer so we are really hoping that when we get the phonecall either tomorrow or friday that they are not asking for a co-signer.

We are hopeful though because before, at all the other complex's when they asked about rental history (we have none) they said that it was a sure thing we'd need a co-signer. When this place asked about rental history and we said we didn't have any the woman just said "Ok, thats fine." and moved on with her questions.

We are supposed to get a call today about our acceptance status for the apartment. They close at 5, it is 3 and still no call so I'm going to head over there and see whats up. Perhaps its taking them longer than they thought to get our credit check. All I know is, we are nervous and anxious to find out if we get this apartment. :please:

They are having issues running credit checks because they have a new computer system. Now we won't know till Monday. :tears:
