Well, if price is the issue in getting "ripped off", then purchasing one from an online breeder will probably be even more expensive than say, a petco RTB. The base price may be lower, however, tack on $50-$60 dollars shipping and I'd bet it'll be a couple nickels over the petco $150.

That being said, if you want a HEALTHY, RTB, check out some of the breeders who are posting in the for sale section of the forum. There are quite a few good breeders down there.

I would personally PM jim020cricket to see if he has anymore, as all the babies of his I have seen are spectacular.

Jimi has the greatest boas around I would have to say but if you are looking for cheap, Jimi doesn't sell garbage. You get what you pay for in the herp world. I'd personally look on the classifieds if you are just wanting a basic Boa, anything special and it will cost you a bit more.

I'd try Ben at www.albinonile.com but make sure to ask for Captive Bred and Born (cbb) cause he also deals in imports. Or there is JnJ Reptiles http://www.jnjreptiles.com/ I've purchased off them in the past and it was a pleasure.

Oh ya, Can't go wrong with Jimi!!! Hes the greatest!!!

I'd much rather give my money and support to someone who loves what they do and has a true passion, not the green eyed. Jimi is a one of a kind dude that has a true passion and he will go far with his attitude, care, and outright dedication to the hobby and species as a whole.
