I'm sorry, but I personally find such a price tag on any snake to be ludicrous. I know price all boils down to how much someone is willing to pay for it, however at such a price it's hard to view the animal as anything more than an object, rather than a living being. You start to look at it as a project in which your goal/care is to see what happens when you mix it with other morphs, a prized possession to boast about having that others don't, a crown jewel of a collection that makes it a superior animal to the rest and begin to look at mere normals as worthless. To me that's sickening.

ok. off my soapbox. not sure where that rant came from. lol

"Some of the first projects that are being worked on is a patternless purple ball python which will be a Banana super cinnamon then we will hit it with the axanthic gene (a.k.a. anerythristic) and remove the red from the purple and make a patternless blue ball python."

"Just to add a few more quick steps to this one designer, the purple patternless animal, we will then make it piebald and do the same on the blue version. Then we will electrify it by making it albino, both the T- and the T+."

"Then we will hit it with the hypo gene to see what that adds to the party."

"We will then hit it with the several lines of so called leucistics out their which I believe will make a pure patternless lavender animal and on the blue version, a powder blue version."

"Someone may come up with a mutation which negates the blue coloration and then we can set up to make a red patternless ball python by removing the blue pigment from the purple patternless mutation."
    -----------------------------------------------------------------

    Come on now.

I cant wait to make a Lesser Granite Spider Hypo Lavender Albino Pied.

100K is a HUGE pricetag for this snake. And the way the ball market has been heading with doms and co doms, I think i'll wait 4 yrs when the snake is 1k. All the pursuasion in the world about whats going to be crossed into the morph isnt going to convince me to invest that much money in todays market. Some of those projects he says will take 10 yrs!

First we will make a banana super cinny pied and then adding a touch of albino to make a banana super cinny pied albino, soon followed by a ghost.

I respect what he has done with this project and what will be happening in the future, but that is crazy talk. Just a bit over board.

Amazing snake. Amazing price tag. Amazing things to come. I'll take a seat and watch, rather than "invest".

That's an awful lot to assume about another person that you don't even know.

As someone that has spent more on single animals than the average american consumer spends on a car, I can personally say that you don't get into working with these animals on a level where you are willing to put out 20K, 40K, 50K or 100K without loving them and respecting them as the amazing living creatures that they are ... all of them.

Sure this business has it's share of scum bags ... but to a scum bag, it doesn't matter if the animal is 100K or $.50 ... a scum bag is just that ... scum.

I think if any thing the fact that it is a living thing for sale the price is worth it. I mean how much is the cost of any life.
