yea well if your 20ft long and gotta take down a gazelle or something of similar size, large teeth are a necessity!

Those pictures have been floating around for a long while. That snake isn't a Central/Greater African Rock Python (Python sebae); its a Southern African Rock Python (Python natalensis). The animal in the picture's about 13' and just finished feeding, went to crawl on the fence and had gotten shocked, whipped back to bite the fence and got its teeth caught on it. The teeth may look larger because the animals mouth may have dried up a bit. AfRocks generally do have larger teeth than Burms or other common giants though.....but think of it this way; on average they take down much larger meals than Retics, Annies or Burms in the wild :P

It's dead. The skin around the teeth dried up and it makes the teeth more pronounced.
