Here's a wierd one.. I have two full grown BP's who have lived together in the same cage for four years......no big deal.... We were told they were both boys and they just got along so they were never separated. Well now I know why they got along, I woke up this morning to two eggs and by the time I was at work and called the wife to let her know, we had 7 eggs.
I am not set up to breed and had no intention of ever breeding so here's my question, can the snake properly incubate the eggs, or will they not survive.I have removed the male and am not sure what to do now. I don't want to invest in an incubator so should I just get rid of the eggs now or what?

2 options...
1. She is capable of incubating them herself. Keep your temps rock steady and your humidity up. She more than likely won't eat till she is done (she will be fine)...in about 50-60 days. Don't touch the eggs or move them. If she seperates any out away from the rest you can assume it is bad and toss it. It is much harder to incubate materially in captivity but it can and has been done.
2. Find a breeder near you that might want them.

Reminds me of a movie I saw once, all the animals are the same sex, no unauthorized breeding in...ZOMG!!! ITS JURRASIC PARK!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!

For future reference, your lucky you got eggs instead of finding one BP ate the other... I would keep them separated from now on.

There has been only one documented case that I am aware of that one ball was eaten by another. They were a group of communally caged ch babies that were dehydrated and in bad shape.

Actually we had a member right on here that had her breeding female completely eat the male. She posted pictures of the female snake afterwards of it. It DOES happen.

No...she found the male...turns out he was hiding somewhere in the enclosure.

make your own incubator. get some vermiculte or perlite, wet it enough to be moist, if it clumps its good (so I read) and put the eggs in there. If the room is warm enough they could hatch at room temp as long as the humidity stays where its supposed too. any experts wanna add to what I wrote, I'd greatly appreciate it.
