I blame y'all. My first Crestie
Alright, I think I need therapy. You people, yes, you people are responsible for 2/3rds of my herps. :colbert: My Crestie and my RTB have arrived in my possesion because of the wonderful pictures and stories y'all have shared. :cens0r:

However, I take great delight in keeping said animals... So is it really a problem? :rolleye2: I dunno. lol:carrot:

Well, onto my crestie, Joe Schmo.

I think now would be the time to start saving up for a decent camera, as I cannot possibly take on another herp at the moment. lol. I have a question concerning feeding. I have made up some CGD and left it in the cage with him(her?) and am wondering whether he(she?) are going to need any help finding the CGD. I got Joe from Petco (I have to rescue those lil buggers, lol) and supposedly has been on CGD the entire time in their posession, with no additives. I plan on just feeding Joe CGD for the time being, but am planning on treating with a few bugs later down the road.

Yea, I named him Joe Shmo because he's so chill, i heard babies are jumpy however he sat on my shoulder like a parrot while I put the last minute touches on his cage.

Ed, you've motivated me more towards saving up my $$$ for a spider bp than anything else. Your sorta counter intuitive when it comes to cresties. lol. It was mlededee and her avatar that pushed me over the edge.

YESSSS! (mwahahaahaaheeehaaa! :devilish: ) very nice new addition. i think my work here is done for today. now who's up for tomorrow? :D

what size enclosure do you have your new little one in? as long as it isn't too big he shouldn't have too much trouble finding the cgd. sometimes you do kind of have to show them the dish at first, or place it somewhere that you notice they hang out or hide a lot. don't worry if you don't see him eat right away though--he will need a few days to settle in and explore his new digs. :)

Re: I blame y'all. My first Crestie
he's in a medium sized critter keeper at the moment. I had started out with aspen as the substrate, but seeing as he immediately started to bury himself rather than chill in the plants I figure I may need a different substrate as I was intending to have him on display, since my RTB is in a tub, and my ball is shyer than all heck. Any suggestions?
