Awesome pics.....really like how they show the detail of the scalation and capture the colors of your mojave. What type of camera do you use?

I also like the demo pic of the digestive cycle by Sweet P. :sweeet:

Hey Mendel's... glad you like them... Sweet P is an educator like his keeper :)

I've been struggling to take a good picture of the mojave... I can see now why there are so clean pictures of them out there. I've always known pictures can't do them justice (ask anyone who has seen one), but I can honestly say they aren't easy to photograph!

I use an olympus c8080 8MP... it's discontinued, but I'd buy another one if the price was right (and there weren't so many sweet BPs out there to get!). You can get them on ebay from time to time... one sold last night for $388. A really inexpensive way to get into anything more than point&shoot photography.

Great pictures! I'm still trying to figure out how the out of the tub grab works! Great clarity! The mojave colors do look sharp!

I have a bunch that are so eager for food they come flying out the tubs when it's feeding time. They coil draped around the lip of the tub, then straighten out and drag their rodents back inside.

Sorry to hear about Athena, what happened?

She had an inmune system disorder. After a month and a half of bayatril injections and two cultures she continually got worse. The culture showed the RI was easliy treatable with the bayatril but she never responded. It was the second in a year.

I know what you mean by jumping out of the tubs. Some of my younger guys do that. I learned to feed them first, before they realize it's feeding time or they come flying out in anticipation. It's pretty funny!
